We didn’t know it at the time, but both of my parents had cancer when this picture was taken. Mom died two days later; Dad died 18 months after her. In the 31 and 32 years we spent together, my parents always encouraged me to write, so now I write to honor their memory.

100% of the profits from the sale of my books will be donated to people in my community who have had cancer, a serious illness, or any other major medical condition become part of their story.
